Provides Electronic Document Management as part of Regent Enterprise Financial Aid Solution

Frederick, MD – Regent Education, the leading provider of financial aid management software solutions for higher education institutions, today announced that it has launched a web-based fully integrated document imaging solution that provides electronic document management, single process workflow automation, and indexing. Regent Imaging increases operational efficiency by extending access to documents, data and business processes to financial aid administrators while providing the highest levels of service to the students.

Regent Imaging provides institutions the ability to scan, index and satisfy student document requirements in one easy step. This design makes Regent Imaging much faster and easier to use than other document management solutions that are designed to process information in many batches and stages that run on separate computers like an assembly line.

Regent Imaging includes key benefits such as:

  • Ability to view documents directly from FAM
  • No integration or separate database is needed; imaged documents are stored within Regent Enterprise
  • Robust OCR, OMR and barcode recognition functionality
  • Ability to use any TWAIN or ISIS scanner
  • Reduced training time and support costs

“We are excited about the addition of Regent Imaging to our Enterprise solution as it will eliminate headaches caused by the purchasing, integration and maintenance of a separate, cost-prohibitive imaging system,” said Leonard Gude, Regent’s Vice President of Financial Aid Solutions. “The Regent Imaging component is another advancement that continues to put Regent at the forefront of technology in the field of financial aid management software solutions,” added Gude.

The new Regent Imaging solution will allow the financial aid office to leverage major efficiencies and significantly raise the level of service to their students. The new imaging solution set will be offered as a fully integrated part of the Regent Enterprise financial aid management solution at no additional cost to the institution.
