We’re looking for talented people like you
Senior Manager / Director, Revenue Marketing
Regent Education helps colleges and universities maximize enrollment by providing automated, flexible, and efficient solutions that meet financial aid needs across all enrollment models. As the leading provider of SaaS-based financial aid solutions, Regent Education helps institutions to simplify and automate the management of the most complex financial aid scenarios, eliminate enrollment barriers for non-US citizen students, and maximize every institutional scholarship dollar.
Backed by a collective of leading, forward-thinking EdTech investors and guided by a team of financial aid experts with more than 400 years of collective experience, Regent Education provides a suite of holistic, cloud-based solutions, uniquely tailored to address all of an institution's financial aid needs.
The Role
The Senior Manager / Director, Revenue Marketing owns revenue marketing for Regent Education: positioning and messaging, retention and expansion programs, sales and customer success enablement, new customer acquisition, and marketing's contribution to the revenue number. You will work with Regent's leadership, product, sales, and customer success teams, and with the Revenue Marketing function at EVA Equity Partners, Regent's investor and operating partner.
This is a dedicated seat because retention, expansion, and competitive positioning need a single owner rather than shared attention. The positioning architecture, offer set, and content pipeline are already in place. The work ahead is keeping the story true as the market moves, getting the field to use what gets produced, and making marketing's contribution to retention and expansion visible enough to plan around.
This position is remote (work from home), with occasional travel for conferences and company meetings.
Core Responsibilities
• Own Regent's messaging architecture and keep it current and approved: positioning, ICP definitions, buyer personas, the competitive view, and the sales battlecard. Initiate refresh cycles when product releases or competitive moves make the current version wrong, rather than waiting for a scheduled review.
• Produce retention program materials for the customer success team: renewal-cycle messaging, executive business review content, customer communications on releases and regulatory change, and intervention materials when an account shows risk.
• Own the marketing side of the services attach and cross-sell motion, including per-account offer materials, release-driven campaigns, and the messaging that connects a customer's operational pain to the right offer.
• Own positioning and enablement for new customer acquisition: segment materials, the conference and event program, demand generation, PR, demo narratives, and the assets sellers carry into competitive deals and RFPs.
• Own the release communications cycle with the product team, and validate positioning claims with product before they go to market.
• Own the enablement inventory and its adoption. Maintain separate sales and customer success tracks, facilitator materials, and release cheat sheets. Track what the field actually uses, and retire or rebuild what it does not.
• Own Regent's public positioning: website copy, product naming accuracy, and the progressive build-out of product, services, and segment pages.
• Own the marketing inputs to monthly reporting: pipeline and win/loss reason codes, asset inventory, and campaign performance.
• Operate and help extend the governed AI content pipeline used across the EVA portfolio, producing through it rather than around it.
Work Experience and Core Competencies
• Five to eight years in B2B product marketing, customer marketing, or revenue marketing at a SaaS or technology company, with a track record of owning outcomes rather than supporting them.
• Higher education domain experience in financial aid, enrollment, or student success. You should be credible with the buyer without spending two quarters learning how aid offices work.
• Full-stack product marketing range: positioning and messaging, demand generation, PR, and events, with customer marketing and enablement as your center of gravity.
• Retention and expansion fluency. You understand how renewal and cross-sell plays get designed, briefed, and executed with customer success and account management, and you know what makes a play actually get run.
• Experience building positioning architecture, tracking it through revision cycles, and holding it current under competitive and product change pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to influence teams you do not manage. This role has no direct reports and still needs sales, customer success, product, and leadership moving in the same direction.
• Fluency with AI tooling as a working method rather than an interest. Production runs through a governed AI pipeline, and you need to be comfortable operating it, directing it, and improving it.
• Comfort working inside a governed methodology, improving it through evidence and escalation rather than by running a parallel version.
Employment Structure
This role can be filled either as a full-time Regent Education employee or as an independent contractor engaged through EVA BPO LLC. We are open to both, so tell us which you prefer when you apply. Scope, accountability, and expectations are identical either way; only the structure and the compensation model differ. The benefits described below apply to the employee path.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range on the employee path is $130,000 to $180,000. Contract engagements are priced at $75 to $105 per hour. Where an offer lands within either range depends on level, experience, and the structure you choose. Please include your salary or rate expectations when you apply.
On the employee path, Regent Education provides fully remote work, unlimited paid time off after 60 days, thirteen paid holidays each year, individual medical, dental, and vision premiums covered in full, a 401(k) with a company match that vests immediately, and annual performance bonus potential. Contract engagements are priced at an hourly or monthly rate that accounts for the absence of employer-provided benefits and employer-side taxes.
