Regent Names Randy Jones Senior Vice President of Sales

Jones, who brings 18 years of technology sales and sales management experience to his post, will guide the strategic direction and execution of Regent's sales team across direct and resale channels.

Before joining Regent, Randy served two years as the Executive Vice President of Sales for the Americas at Managed Objects, a Business Service Management company. While there, Randy reconstructed the sales force and built a team that produced consistent quarter-over-quarter growth. Additionally, he worked with the Board of Directors and CEO to successfully position the company for the next phase in its lifecycle, successfully selling Managed Objects to Novell in November 2008. Prior to Managed Objects, Randy spent eight years at OPNET Technologies, Inc. (OPNT), an entrepreneurial high-tech software and consulting services company.
