As Chief Executive Officer, Randy is responsible for leading Regent's growth strategy. He brings a proven track record with two decades of experience in the enterprise application and software business to this role.

 

Randy joined Regent in 2008 as Senior Vice President of Sales, guiding the strategic direction and execution of Regent's sales team across direct and reseller channels. Before joining Regent, Randy spent 2 years as the Executive Vice President of Sales for the Americas at Managed Objects, a Business Service Management company. While there, Randy reconstructed the sales force, and built a team that produced consistent quarter over quarter growth. Additionally, he worked with the Board of Directors and CEO to successfully position the company for the next phase in its lifecycle, successfully selling Managed Objects to Novell in November of 2008. 

 

Prior to Managed Objects, Randy spent 8 years at OPNET Technologies, Inc. (OPNT), an entrepreneurial high tech software and consulting services company. As Senior Vice President of North American Sales, Randy oversaw the rapid scaling of the sales force and attainment of accelerated revenue growth, which averaged better than 20% increase annually, to position the company for its successful IPO.

 

Randy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton.
