Robert Morton
Robert runs Marketing for
education technology leader Blackboard and serves a client community
of more than 3600 clients around the world in Higher Education and
K-12, as well as new clients. Robert's team includes Marketing
Communications, Product Marketing and Marketing Programs
professionals - all focused on delivering remarkable solutions for
learning institutions through a diverse portfolio of marketing
channels includes User Conferences on 3 continents, public
relations, lead generation, partner marketing, and significant
community/grassroots outreach. In addition to leading the
marketing team, Robert is also responsible for Blackboard brand
positioning and related market strategy research.
Before joining Blackboard, Robert held marketing leadership
positions in the telecommunications, online media and enterprise software
arenas. His career building brands has included success at
companies in various stages - from leading brands like Blackboard
and The Motley Fool to fast growing category builders like ATCALL
and Nucleus Solutions, a leading data integration software provider
in the Human Capital Management market. Robert lives with his
wife and two daughters in Alexandria, Virginia.
