Pugliese is president of Learning Diagnostics Inc. (LDI), an education holding company and consulting organization that provides assistance to Fortune 500 organizations involved in education enterprise. Prior to LDI, he held several senior executive positions including CEO of Blackboard Inc., a leading provider of enterprise software and services serving more 3,600 institutions to the education industry; Educational Testing Services; Scholastic Inc.; and Turner Education Services. Pugliese also served as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Novak Biddle Venture Partners. Pugliese is a noted international speaker on technology innovation in education and has addressed a wide range of issues in education and education policy. Pugliese is active in the Washington, DC regional and national technology community and serves on the numerous local and regional boards in education and software related businesses.
