David Parento

David is a Senior Associate with Chrysalis Ventures, a premier venture capital firm in Mid-America that manages one of the region's largest funds for early-stage and growth investments.

David is a graduate of Yale University and holds a law degree from Vermont Law School and Master’s degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he was a Sloan Fellow.  David is active in the venture community and serves on the board of the Florida Venture Forum.

Prior to Chrysalis, David practiced law at Davis Polk & Wardwell in their Menlo Park, London, and New York offices where he specialized in M&A, private equity, and capital market transactions.  David joined Chrysalis Ventures as an investment professional in 2006.
